Pilates is a type of exercise that focuses on strengthening the core muscles, improving flexibility and balance, and promoting overall physical wellness. Pilates classes typically include a series of low impact, controlled movements that are designed to engage the deep abdominal and spinal muscles.

By participating in Pilates classes, you can expect to see improvements in your core strength, posture, flexibility, balance and overall fitness level. Additionally, Pilates can also help to reduce stress, tension and pain in the body and can be beneficial for people recovering from injuries,
particularly low back, hip, neck or shoulder injury.


Our Pilates classes are run by Denise Armitstead, who is a highly experienced Level 3 Pilates instructor. The classes are designed for beginner to intermediate levels. We hold small group classes so that we can offer as much attention as each individual needs during the sessions.
